Mine is a tip, despite me spending yesterday collecting in wrapper paper and boxes. They seem to be breeding. There is also a bike in my dining room, there is always a bike in my dining room. I don't know why, it's never the same bike, it changes.

There are still golf clubs in my hall. There is also an unkown boxed item, possibly my presen, in the hallt.

There are various bottles of alchohol and pepsi max strewn about the place.

In the living room there is :

There is a pile of lager, cider, beer.

Several piles of presents.

I am meant to be having a party tommorrow and you cannot even get through my front door without running an assault course.

ahh now I got up nice and early (think 5am) and blitzed the place. I can not stand mess, clutter, things where they shouldn't be. After having 12 here all day yesterday it was chaos. It literally makes me itch. My house is now back to its beautiful pristine state ready for the housekeeper to resume duties tomorrow. Xmas Confused

This lunch time's washing up is still festering in the sink. There are toys everywhere. The floor is a disgrace. The washing basket is full. Instead of dealing with all this, I am having a glass of well-earned wine and faffing around on mumsnet while DH plays lego with our DS (who should be in bed!)

It's Christmas! Who cares about a bit of mess?

Good luck with the party. Don't worry too much about clearing up Grin

Mine is terrible, washing up/ clothes a huge pile of wrapping paper and cardboard festering in a corner of the hall, toys and pressies everywhere.

I have been ill though so a sort of excuse

Mine isn't too bad she lies

Buy guests are leaving today so will leave DH playing with DS and shift stuff back to normal. Only issue is toys, toys and more toys! Hmm

Our council decided in their infinite wisdom to stop collecting cardboard 2 weeks before xmas. They are however, still paying for it to be collected. So the house is a wreck, the bin is full and I have nowhere to put it all.
