Fledglings dreaming of a FLY Christmas - December's fledgling flyers thread

Welcome flyers one and all, old and new, to the December thread! As the advent calendars go up, let's beat the CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome) and FLY through Christmas into the New Year (or have a go at it, anyway...)!

We take a three-pronged approach (and a large pinch of salt) to the FLYlady system:

-babysteps
-babysteps and 15 mins' decluttering
-babysteps and missions

Whatever you do, though, don't sign up for the emails or your inbox will be bursting within seconds. Or so I'm led to believe... I will post the links to the babystep and mission for each day (the first ones to follow this evening) and there'll be plenty of chat, , and along the way.

Happy new year everyone. Had a mixed night. Had gin, chocs and pjs but also a 6 year old with a bad cough and who has kept visiting us all night so no nice snuggles but have had a relaxing night pottering and DH has now set up our xbox (one year old in box) and finished 30 seconds before the bongs.

Pils here tomorrow and we are going bowling with dd first thing before a mad cleaning session and chocolate cake making session so I'll say good night, happy new year, you are an amazing bunch and I look forward to spending time with you in 2012.

Flying. I came to the conclusion that mn was good for hanging out with a few fellow kindred and only stick to a few quiche threads mostly these days. It is typically when i am bored in the middle of the night when i venture out, or i am ingnoring the rest of humanity. Take a break, and the come back when you are ready. Oh and people have been stupidly affected with takinglifetooseriousitis and headsupownassitis recently. Normally people love a good reality bonkers as conkers thread but this time she got completely and utterly flamed, despite having been asked to write the thread. Mn has been plain odd recently. Not sure if it is an influx of newbies who are inflicted or just that so many people have had fucking awful 2011. Hope you are ok

fabulous night, set up new thread, then computer died, fixed computer, posting here, checking scarey thread and a few homes then hoping for some sleep. Wishing you all fuckawsome 2012 or at the very least 2012s that are an improvement on 2011

It should be hall/porch/dining room I think, that is Zone 1.
