Help! Please. Has metal rim so can't use anything that will affect the metal.
Thanks

Viacal is pretty much the best for pure dissolvability, but I quite like the cilit bang in the orange bottle too - works a treat if you leave it on for a while. Then use to keep it clean and it won't build up again. I use it on my sink and it doesn't affect the metal around the plug.

Magic erasers are quite good too if it's making it a bit stained.

Don't use harsh cleaners try the rubber first. Only put limescale removers on it for a small amount of time maybe 2 minutes and then repeat, you want it to attack the limescale not your shower tray.

this is not the sort of answer you expected, but if you can afford a water softener you will be amazed at what a difference it makes (the big ones with a salt reservoir that work by ionic exchange, not the little magnetic things that work by magic and faith)

Ecover Toilet Cleaner painted on works amazingly fast.
