Because asdas own brand is on offer. I usually use basic tablets but this will be cheaper, right?

depends how much powder you use in each wash

I usually use tablets so I dont know how much powder that is. I'll weigh one and work it out from there.

It will be much much cheaper - I never use tablets, and 1kg of powder lasts me weeks and weeks, maybe even months, using on average one wash a day. I've never understood why anyone would use tablets.

I use powder too now, it lasts ages and does a better job.

I haven't paid attention to how long exactly, hmm I love that sort of thing though, maybe next time.

How much powder do you actually use? It says on the bottle to use 40-45ml and assuming a 1 kilo bottle is about a litre then it would work out more expensive than the cheap tablets. I always use less than half the recommended amount of laundry detergent but I wonder if it would be okay to do the same with dishwasher products.

Buy tablets from Costco when they are on offer. They work out much cheaper and last for ages

I buy 3kg of Daisy powder in Tesco - it lasts for ever and costs under a fiver. Way cheaper than any tablets I have seen, also you can use less or more depending on how dirty the dishes are.

Right off to tesco then when the tablets run out.

I've no idea how much powder I use - I basically fill the dispenser drawer by about 2/3. And yes, if the dishes aren't very dirty, I don't put much powder in. Next time I start a new bottle I'll make a note and see how long it lasts. Don't hold your breath, as I'm only about 1/2 way through this one!!
