Made beds
Posted letters
Paid garage

Still need to:
Iron best tablecloth (day 96 in basket probably) Grin
Buy car battery
Buy lead stuff for kit car
Put lights on DS's bikes

pozzled · 06/10/2011 15:33

Hi all

Managed to get a fair bit done yesterday, so will take it a bit easier from now until Sunday as I have both DDs. Mon-Wed are my more intense housework days!

I have been out all morning so nothing done yet, but this afternoon/evening I need to:

Put clean washing away
Wash up
Cook
Load washing machine ready for tomorrow

Booyhoo You've just reminded me how badly my windows need doing- I'm putting that on my list for Monday morning!

AutumnHues · 06/10/2011 17:42

Hi all, I have failed most things on my list today although I did do some washing up/drying up. hope I do better tomorrow.Hmm

can i join in for a bit? I started a thread a bit ago asking for help but apart from someone telling me to give flylady another go, little joy. I hate flylady, it really isn't compatable with working, ime.
I work part time, dh works long hours and I am drowning. and now we have a dog just to make life even easier for me Hmm.
this evening:

Cook dinner,
clean kitchen floor
clean bathroom
tidy kitchen

help ds with homework.

AutumnHues · 06/10/2011 18:03

Hi ArfurBrain, Yes, anyone is welcome to join.Smile
I tried to do the Baby steps for FlyLady but I didn't get much further than the Decluttering!

OP posts:
ArfurBrain · 06/10/2011 18:04

yes, i use a couple of the things - like 15 minutes on a timer and hot spots but.....

booyhoo · 06/10/2011 18:25

hi arfur

i didn't really get on with flylady either. i do use the 15 minute whizz thing and i often do a 45 minute job aswell, but as for shining my sink every night or working on the weekly room etc it just isn't going to happen for me. her methods make sense but dont work for everyone.

i am a very notional (is that the right word) person in that i do what i feel like doing (too often i dont feel like doing anything Grin) so having to stick to a prescribed room wouldn't suit me.

notso · 06/10/2011 20:00

Hi all got on quite well today. Did list anyway, seem to have lost motivation in general though. I just about keep my sinks in the bathroom shiny but not the kitchen.

BoffinMum · 06/10/2011 20:53

MwaHahahahaha!
Have delegated battery purchase etc to DH, who is working from home tomorrow! Grin

Tablecloth still there.
May tidy toys in desultory manner to procrastinate.

ArfurBrain · 07/10/2011 09:59

only managaed to cook and do homework last night...

today id my day off, I have thoroughly cleaned bathroom and put washing in. Have decluttered hallway and am about to tackle: FANFARE -

Teen Room

If I'm not back here in an hour, send reinforcements....

AutumnHues · 07/10/2011 10:06
Grin Thanks ArfurBrain and BoffinMum you made me smile when I read your posts!

I am feeling very tired this morning due to lack of sleep and Anaemia (see health board if interested)

However I need to find the energy to:
Wash up/dry up if I get that done I might move on to something else!Hmm
Wish me luck!

booyhoo · 07/10/2011 10:24

i'm feeling really sluggish today. for some reason i seem to have far less time than i did yesterday!

same list as usual for me although i think i will only get the beds, dishes, dog poo and possibly washing done, depending on whether yesterdays washing is dry yet (no washing line, tumble dryer or heating and it rained constantly yesterday so couldn't even put clothes horse outside Sad)

i have managed to do the litter tray so that's a start Grin

going to watch jeremy kyle some tv and then see what i can get done before school pick up.

AutumnHues · 07/10/2011 10:51

I have made my list a little bit longer now,
To do:
Wash up/dry up
Do some clothes washing
do cat litter tray
Put away dry washing

OP posts:
ArfurBrain · 07/10/2011 10:54

BlackCatinaWitchesHat · 07/10/2011 15:09

ArfurBrain · 07/10/2011 17:21

ok, had a really productive day, including the weekly shop (thanks to mny mum turning up and looking after poorly boy)
It's a nice feeling, as we have a v busy weekend looming.
And she brough me a mahoosive bunch of red gladioli which are curtrently making the front room look a little classier :)
This evening, I will cook dinner AND clean up kitchen afterwards. 3rd load of washing on line.

BlackCatinaWitchesHat · 08/10/2011 09:51

Morning all, I need to:
Wash up/dry up
Do washing (never did it yesterday)
Go food shopping.
If I get this list done might do some more. I tend to have Most evenings Saturday evening off.Wink

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 08/10/2011 10:27

Thank you for the message Autumn - I found you!

BlackCatinaWitchesHat · 08/10/2011 10:30

thereisalight (Autumn here) I have name changed for Halloween Grin.

BoffinMum · 08/10/2011 15:41

This morning I have:

Loaded the dishwasher
Washed up the things that don't fit in there
Put away the washing
Ignored the tablecloth (day 97 or so - this is getting like Alcoholics Anonymous)
Made shopping list
Got dressed
Inspected kids' bathroom and state of loo, gagged and retreated
Told DH to get the kids dressed
Gone into town to pick some stuff up for DH
Taken everyone to Starbucks for cake as we realised we had forgotten to feed the kids breakfast
Gone to bed for a bit upon our return on grounds of feeling grumpy and hormonal
Shouted at DS1 three times for being noisy
Got up
Made self lunch and told DH to feed kids
Gone back to bed with laptop and lunch

I am not sure if this is a good day or not Grin

BoffinMum · 08/10/2011 15:42

Oh yes, and sent DH to supermarket with aforementioned shopping list! Wink

BoffinMum · 08/10/2011 15:43

Is it wine o'clock yet?

BlackCatinaWitchesHat · 08/10/2011 18:33

I haven't got much done at home(only some washing up).
We seem to have spent quite a while out getting the weekly shop. By the time we got back it was time to cook the dinner. Now chilling out.
So I will have to do my jobs tomorrow!

BoffinMum · 08/10/2011 18:57

Seem to have a bit of a temperature. DH has returned with shopping, brought me flowers, put away shopping, made me lots of cups of tea, looked at kit car websites with me and brought me the paper up.

It is like having a wife. he is great. Grin
