I have just discovered that 4 yr old Dd spilt a load of body lotion on my carpet yesterday, and then tried to wipe it up with tissues. So it has had a nice long time to sink in...well-moisturised carpet, but what do I do about it? It's a wool mix carpet, looped pile. What cleaning product will lift oily mess? HELP!
(Whilst I was scrutinising carpet, I also saw a few older stains, that are probably massage oil, now covered with dust. Can't blame that on her though! Will same approach clean it too?)
