Cleaned oven with mr muscle, now can't get rid of smell

is it safe to cook in because i would have thought that the fumes would infiltrate the food. it smells really strong.

I was going to put jacket potatoes in for the children for lunch but i'm worried that it would make them toxic.

Should I re wash it again with soapy water or leave it open over night? I did leave it open for ages after cleaning it, then went on holiday and left it closed, have come back and it is still really strong, in hindsight I should have left it open whilst i was away.

I would put oven on a medium heat, leave the door open, smell should go after an hour?

Turn it on about 150 for 10 or 15 minutes, turn off, open the door - that should work

Slice a lemon and put it in it and heat for a whilen and put it in it and heat for a while
