Help, International Guest Arrives in 24 hours and my kitchen smells of rotting garbage.

Floor cleaned and mopped
Fridge emptied and cleaned
Cupboards stripped of out of date food
Sink and ubend cleaned
What else can I do?
Strangely the smell seems to be coming from the rear of the freezer, I've pulled it out, vacummed the back and used a tourch to check for any trapped dead rodents.
Frozen food can't be rotten and smelly can it?

You could try putting a few bowls out with bicarbonate of soda in them to absorb the smell....doesn't help find the source though...good luck!

Just bicarb in a bowl, no water.
