Can anyone help me chose which product would be best for me please?

I have a moulinex which I call a food processor. It can do lots of things but I mainly use the big bowl and not the extra bits. I am looking to replace it and are considering this and this one.

I am struggling to see what the extra £300 is getting me and I realise it is a sales pitch the assistant saying if I buy the smaller one I will want the bigger one thought to be fair, in Lakeland they are not pushy.

I cook and bake a lot and see this as something that will last forever.

Does anyone have either product?

I don't see the benefit of a timer to be honest. The bowl of the expensive one is a wee bit bigger and it's twice as powerful. I have a classic Kenwood Chef bought last year - 800 watts and it's plenty enough for me. The extra power is useful for pastry or bread.
I found Amazon to be the cheapest place for a Kenwood chef - and you can read the reviews to help you decide.

That is what I was thinking but I wanted to make sure I got it right as I won't be able to buy another one.
