I am getting a new kitchen and apart from wanting a range cooker I have no idea what other exciting things I could get! It's a result of having to put up with years and years of married quarter kitchens which, shall we say, are a little dated Smile

Underfloor heating (had this in my last house & it was fab)
Bins that live in a cupboard (again, had this in the last house & miss them now)
A breakfast bar/small table - we're decorating the dining room atm & so have the dining table in the kitchen & I love it - it's so nice to be able to do stuff in the kitchen (empty dishwasher etc) while DD eats her third bowl of cereal in the morning!

I'm planning my dream kitchen as won't happen for another 6 years or so...

Underfloor heating - currently the kitchen is only a couple degrees warmer than outside. Yes, olive oil goes solid in winter.
Ceramic hob (or maybe induction), wall-mounted oven.
Belfast sink or similar size, plus extra little sink with tall tap for kettle-filling.
Somewhere to put the fridge-freezer that isn't next to the oven, which isn't good for it.
Proper cupboards with backs to them, so things can't fall out the back and mice can't think about coming in.
Lots of pull-out narrow larder cupboards and pan drawers.
Loads of counter space. This will be the tricky bit.
Space next to back door for keeping wellies etc.

But doing our kitchen involves knocking the whole room down and rebuilding, so need to save up...
