dried in red wine stain on cashmere mix jumper

dh wore his lovely new cashmere mix jumper and got a red wine stain on the v of the vneck. it's very obvious but is now dried in as he didn't pick it up off the floorspot it for a day or two. any ideas how I can try and remove it?

Not sure if you can. Once a stain has dried in - it permanently stains the fabric. With all stains now I try to keep damp/wet until washing. Sometimes even removing it - it leaves a yellowish stain. Try google.

Try Wine Away - from Lakeland and possibly John Lewis. I've used it successfully on dried in stains.
