Does Febreeze work and if so can anyone recommend which one is the best for what I need please?

I have just been cleaning DD's room and it appears she has wet the bed and not told us. Her pillow and quilt is on the line to air but I need to sort the mattress. DH can clean it on the weekend with the wet carpet cleaner but until then I need something. TIA.

febreze only masks nasty smells IME - doesn't kill them.

You could try the bicarb thing - it works with vomit & I think it works with urine. Make a thin paste with water, dab it on & leave it to dry, then vac the powder out.

How well it works depends how far it soaked in. Good luck!

(I mean how well the bicarb works depends how far the wee soaked in! If a long way then you might have to repeat & let the bicarb solution soak in too.)

Would dry bicarb on the mattress work? I am not keen on wetting the mattress as she could sleep in DS's spare bed but it doesn't always go well when they sleep together.

Thank you.

Could you move the mattress from DS's spare bed onto her bed for a night or two?

It is a different sized bed. I will reassess tonight and ds will just have to lump it tbh.

VERY dilute Zoflora is good for wee and sick smells!
