I've always had a window cleaner but can't find a decent one around here.

So come and tell me how to get them sparkly Smile

I use washing-up liquid in warm water, then scrape off with same gadget window-cleaners use
and rub still-wet areas with screwed-up newspaper, but have modern micro-fibre cloth using water only on inside windows.

Wait until there is a rainstorm and they are nice and wet and then just squeegee it off!:) Very quick, environmentally friendly and no streaks!
