And thank god I did!

It makes such a difference, especially to my stress levels Grin

It only too three weeks and hardly cost anything. If anyone else feels inspired, you can see photos and a link to instructions here.

Wow loving the site, makes me think I should be doing more DIY! Good job Grin

Is that your actual hallway over or are these the instructions you followed?
This is exactly what we need in our vestibule, although it is titchy.
I bought a shoe rack from Costco but it doesn't accommodate all the boots we are all wearing while it is so dirty outside. We use them all year round really because we have a dog so we need a variety of heights. This would be perfect - I am very impressed. Well done!

CarrotsandCelery the photos are all from my own hallway and my own shoe cubby. The hallway is actually outside our front door though, in the communal hallway in the block of flats but no one else uses it as it only leads to our flat.

It was the only place we had for it.

Oh isn't that excellent. I am inspired (admittedly I'm inspired to nag DH to drive me to IKEA Grin).

SalStrawberry when it gets to that stage, you need to start chucking out his old shoes Grin
