Cleaning plastic garden toys that have gone green

We moved in the autumn and put the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe and Wendy House on the patio as we had in old house. Bozo here hadn't thought that our north facing garden would mean that the toys have ended up going green.

What's the best way to clean them - will bleach affect the colour of the plastic. Is there something better?

I don't know about bleach, but have always found that Johnson's baby wipes clean pretty much anything (including an ancient muddy greasy pushchair and a bike).

Washing up liquid and hottish water(only needs to be hot to make it more comfortable in cold weather), 3 green scrubby things, 2 small dc and 1 adult. The dc love doing it, green yuk is not harmful to them imo.

I agree with LooL00 - I have to do the wendy house and outdoor toys at least once a year. Warm water so your hands don't ache, washing up liquid and kitchen sponges. I hose it down afterwards - job done. I do usually leave it til Spring though. We still have snow in our garden Shock
