Would a voile sheet look weird behind wooden venetian blinds?

Hi - am hoping I can get a quick idea of people's opinions.

We live in a ground floor flat and our living room window faces onto the street.

We recently got wooden venetian blinds, as we thought we'd be able to angle the blinds to increase privacy. However, they don't give us as much privacy as we'd like without compromising the daylight too much!

So...I am trying to think of solutions (having just bought the venetians we can't afford to replace them). I was thinking one option may be to put a voile, sheer panel behind the venetians. Do people think this would look really strange??

Thanks for your thoughts!

Might look a bit ott

Voile panels used as curtains on the inside would look better.

i think it would look odd. what about some frosted window film instead?

no to voile behind blinds

Shame you bought the wooden ones- any chance you could flog and get a nice sheer pale fabric blind instead and etch the bottom of your windows

I second Ceres on the window film. We used Purlfrost, which was great.

Thanks for your thoughts - you've confirmed my feeling that the voile would look odd! Will look into window frosting, that seems a good alternative.

Thanks again.
