Getting poo smell out of nonwashable chair

Aaaaaaaargghhhh
DD has just had poo accident in pants whilst sitting in non-washable fabric-padded computer chair. No evidence of poo per se, but the chair stinks! Any tips on how to clean this? If no joy, chair will have to go to the dump, so I don't object to caustic/experimental methods..!
Please help!

how about febreeze?

or perhaps 1st you could try bicarb, leave for a while and hoover off

Dissolve some biological washing powder/liquid in really hot water. Use a cloth to dip in the water and wring it out then rub the chair. Do it several times. Blot with kitchen towel.

bicarb will do it - honest!

make thin paste with water, rub it in to all smelly areas, leave to dry, hoover out.

It will work - trust me Smile

(might have to do it twice & with wetter solution if it soaked into padding)

Thanks ladies,
I had a go with washing powder solution just after I posted (thought rapid action was necessary before it soaked in). Will try the bicarb if it fails the sniff test once it dries...
