Ha, ha (fiendish cackle)

dh has gone to his mothers to help her with the packing.

I have been into ds2 bedroom and filled 4 binbags and a large cardboard box!!!! Grin

Room is now clean and tidy with NO CRAP lying around trying to trip me up. Things were getting so bad I couldn't even get to the wardrobe to put clothes away Angry

Trouble is, I can't get to the recycle centre because of the snow. The bags and box are sitting in my potting shed Hmm

Will I be able to get to the tip before dh returns?

Keep an eye out for the next thrilling episode of Clear My Bloody House Up Before Husband Finds Out!!!

He cannot chuck anything away at all, ever. I hate it, it is driving me completely crazy.

How can I get to the recycle centre? Confused

This is so funny! But I thought you were going to say you cleared out DH's stuff, I do that all the time when he goes away on business trips, I mostly chuck out all the shite his Mother buys him for xmas (but that's a whole other thread!) and of course ensure it gets picked up by the binmen before DH returns home.

Do you have a loft? Could you put the binbags in the loft (assuming there's nothing that might rot in there) and take it to the recycle centre later?

Added bonus that when your DH freaks at the thought that his collection of shit memorabilia is gone, you can say it's in the loft if he wants to go through it, but it's going to the tip in a fortnight.

If there is a lot of it would your council come and get it? Ours is pretty good for that sort of thing, despite being pretty poor at everything else. Depends how long your dh gone for though.

ds1 has his bedroom in the loft as it's a conversion.

dh has returned today and seen the new tidy bedroom, but hasn't asked any questions.......yet

Council can't come out because of the heavy snow.

It will have to remain hidden in the potting shed Confused. One of the binbags is starting to rip and I have to keep removing them to get at my chicken care stuff.

Life is precarious isn't it?
