I have an odd corner in my utility room which I'd like to use for a broom cupboard - can I buy a cupboard door somewhere ? I'll explain !

In my new utility room I have one wall which has the jutting out bit of our alcove in the adjacent dining room

That's made a convenient cubby hole (full floor to ceiling height) on one side

There is though in this a pipe which runs down in one corner. I'd thought of buying a kitchen unit floor to ceiling length which would house a small hoover/broom/bucket but not sure if that's going to work. We don't have a budget for having a custom made cupboard and a curtain might look a bit naff

To give you an idea the dimensions which are usable are 53cm wide by 76 cm deep and full floor to ceiling height.

Any ideas?

DH got cupboard door fixings out of Screwfix, but I'm not sure about the door itself, I'll ask him later if nobody else answers.

What's the full height?

Ikea PAX might work - this one is 50cm wide, and you'd need to built a simple frame to hang it on..

Try B and Q or wickes
Or buy a sheet of MDF/real wood depending on budget and get the supplier to cut it for you

Ooh thanks everyone for your suggestions - On the PAX suggestion - We're getting the pax system in our bedroom with the sliding doors but hadn't realised you could just get the cupboard like that - I am loving IKEA at the moment. It might not be some people's cup of tea but having lived in a bit of a tip for 10 months with most of our stuff in boxes (we are very lucky to at least have moved out- it's been a big and messy job) I am getting quite excited about getting organised !!...Just been planning my utility room today as it's been plastered and in fact am ordering some of those wire rack with 50 litre bucket things too for the utility from IKEA (and then putting some of the old units in too) -I think that PAX cupboard would work brilliantly in my new corner TA !!!.
