JKS that looks fab - thank god I haven't really got a pram fetish otherwise I'd be sorely tempted Grin I do however have my eye on a very expensive lovely changing bag that I shall be drawing DH's attention to!

Wasting - you could always e-bay the two you have and then get a Bee off e-bay if you really fancied a change when number 2 comes along? Hope AF plays ball for you :)

This evening went a bit pearshaped - I lay down for 5 minutes and didn't wake up until DH got in from work at 6.45pm! DS was still asleep too - nightmare, although he'd only gone down at 4.15 as about a minute after I posted earlier that he was napping he starting hurling things out of his cot and shouting at me to come and get him out. So DS had pasta, I had a ham sandwich and DH had already eaten a burger on his way home for some reason. Must do better tomorrow Grin

Get DS dressed

Pack a bag and get out of the house by 10.50

Clear up
DS to bed
Fold some washing and put away clean, aired clothes

TO DO

I should've guessed about the baby really as it does feel as if someone is sitting on my bladder, lol!
It better turn around though, not impressed at its behaviour already Grin

Morning all,
Sadly no new slattern-baby yet, despite proper contractions for quite some time last night. Was about to call labour suite at around 4am then the next one was 7mins later and decided to try and get back to sleep again. Woke up again around 7am with just sporadic cx again. So tired as very little sleep. DH gone into work today very relieved that I told him to come off the computer around 10.30pm and come to bed as he might need his sleep, even if I didn't get any!
I've kept on thinking I'm going to be sick, too. Which has made me think that this could/should be part of the real thing. Just hoping LO is having a short break before deciding to aim for her EDD. Hmm

Anyway, feeling like I'm rubbish at this whole labour thing so clearly time for hot buttered crumpets with honey and daily phonecall to mum. Leaving it to DH to update PILS.

Feeling your pain, JKS, but actually didn't see PILS at all yesterday which is good as did not want to see anyone. Thinking today will be likewise.

(Gets teary at mini's lovely comment)

Friday
More sleep!
Hoover
Clear bedroom in progress
More baby clothes washing (3 - 6 months range, just to be on the safe side)
Parcel up maternity clothes to send to N
Parcel up baby clothes to send to N, A and F (LO not even here yet but have been given so many second-hand ones as well as new ones)
Washing up

Other
Read new determination RT done
Sort out spare room for when mum comes to stay
Sort out sponsorship forms
Do work on website - call helpdesk re. online ordering and private albums
Write items for church website and email to vicar to be signed off
Wrap presents and work out what else needs getting
Finish writing and send thank-you cards

Also Plum, are you okay?

comtessa · 26/11/2010 11:02

PS EDD tomorrow.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 26/11/2010 11:12

Mo'ning

Bag packed
Sofa covers washed
Towels in machine

CBA with a proper list today, am excited about the weekend!

I have had 4 buggies for 2 dc Blush
Original graco travel system one, then got a super lightweight bebe confort vit because I was ashamed of the graco (all my friends then had posh stylish things and mine was cheap and ugly!)and wanted a smaller stroller for pushing dd from a-b. The vit was great for dd because she didn't nap out and about but ds was completely different and so when we were going to Botswana I wanted an umbrella folding one that would recline so he would sleep in it and bought a 2nd hand mcclaren. Also had the (2nd hand) Powertwin from when they both needed a buggy (18 month gap). Still use the Graco for shopping as it has a massive basket, also if we are walking a long way in a hurry cos dd can stand on the back. Have got over my shame now Grin And use the McClaren for on the bus etc. The other two are in the shed (probably going mouldy).

FreakoidOrganisoid · 26/11/2010 11:14

X post Comtessa. You do actually sound like labour is imminent to me Grin Fingers crossed it gets going properly soon.

comtessa · 26/11/2010 11:17

Thanks Freaki, really hope so as now feeling irrationally irritable about seeing ANYONE, even close friends, before baby is here. Happy weekend!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 26/11/2010 11:32

I was in a vile mood for a couple of days before ds came, my poor sister was staying with us and I was horrible!

Was also doing the whole "why can't my bloody body just do what it's bloody supposed to instead of messing around stop starting for days on end" thing Grin

FreakoidOrganisoid · 26/11/2010 11:36

Oooh and exciting news here is that dd can read! she has been bringing home 3 letter word cards to blend sounds and has been finding them really easy then last night she got an usborne phonics reader off the shelf and started to read it to me, did really really well Grin

JustKeepSparkling · 26/11/2010 12:12

Yey Freaki! how old is she, did she start school in Sept? Sometimes i think DS1 is getting there then other days he really isn't. I suppose it will come.

Comtessa - i couldn't settle the day before DS1 but i can't really remember the same thing before DS2.
Hope you get to have a day of peace.

BaroqinAroundTheChristmasTree · 26/11/2010 12:16

oh fooking nora.

I've only got up about 45 minutes ago!!!

Woke up at 8.58 to hear DS1 and 2 shouting "bye mum" as they went off to school.

DS3 wandered up to me a couple of times to tell me random things, I did hear the phone ring and a message being left etc etc - so I was "awake" enough to respond if DS3 suddenly howled. But not awake enough to realise what time it was Shock.

FUCK that's my whole morning gone.

Got to make a list of a days worth of stuff to be done in an afternoon ARGHHH

JustKeepSparkling · 26/11/2010 13:30

BaroqinAroundTheChristmasTree · 26/11/2010 13:47

Oh it doesn't happen often - i usually spend Friday mornings dozing on the sofa for a little while (not the whole morning Blush) as I don't need to get DS3 to nursery on Friday's - but OMG 11.30 Blush

still haven't done anything or made a list. Think perhaps I ought to have a shower and wake up properly then get going.

Only thing I can think of that I HAVE to do today is go and pick DS2's birthday present (his bike) up after school (they need to put it together for him while he's there to get it at the right height etc).
