OOOOOOOOOO, yes, reflexology. The day BEFORE I watched Russell Crowe do his stuff in Gladiator I had reflexology.... Personally I think the film tipped me over Wink but maybe the reflexology got me started ?!?!?!?!?

If I did pics now - just empty rooms. Maybe when they've ripped something out/roof off/walls torn apart??!

Men! DH bust up his hand quite badly at the weekend. Swelling gone down a bit now, thankfully, but black and blue and clearly very sore. So now he says "might go get it xrayed at lunch time" OK. and THEN says "oh it's rugby training tonight" Hmm. FGS!!!!!

I LOVE YOU SLATTERNS!

You have made me laugh and smile and it's so nice to know there are people out there looking out for me (even if only virtually) Smile Can the bus take us all on somewhere afterwards though? The trip sounds fun and I don't want to miss out Grin

I text back: I know but please don't make this harder than it needs to be, you are with gf.

Then he sent a long row of x's. Didn't reply to that.

I think anger is good right? It's better to be angry at him than all sad. I'm sure it's part of the recovery process, first sad, then angry then you are able to move on.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 16/11/2010 13:03

Completely forgot anything else then, was too busy basking in slattern warmth Grin

Anon I think we need before pics though so we can fully appreciate the destruction.

Plum hope it goes ok with your dad, must be quite nervewracking though.

Will beback with list, ds is asleep on my arm and it#s going dead

Spacehoppa · 16/11/2010 13:04

Hello Chickens!
(Hello lovely family Smile)

As I currently work full time, you really wouldn't want to see my to do list. Its got things on it like:

  1. Set Team Objectives
and
  1. Sort out contracts for new customers
and
  1. Tell team am PG. DONE!! (eeep.. they all looked worried that I'm going to abandon them!)

Am sure that will change come May next year.

Am also v pleased with myself cos have bought Mini lovely crimbo pres. Tick Done! HMHB to do still!!

comtessa · 16/11/2010 17:56

Plum, any news about your Dad? Did you take up Cikecaka's suggestion? Hope it's not causing you too much stress.

Freaki how are you feeling now? So hard when someone's being a headf* like that.

Thanks Anoknocking and mini. Will get DH to do reflexology pressure - I can reach but it's not comfortable!
Contractions did take off again this morning but eased off now. Had MW appt at lunchtime and she thinks little one could well be here by the end of the week and if so she's likely to be between 8 1/2 and 9 lbs. It's the first time my very cautious MW has ever given me an estimate on timing or weight so hopefully won't be long until DD arrives.

Double-check hospital bag done
Washing up done done
Ikea wardrobe being delivered done
Call mum done
MW appt done
Unpack wineglasses done
Raspberry leaf tea done
Nap done
Run up and down stairs done

Morning all.
Have had no sleep - had massive row with MIL last night, she really cocked something up for me and refuses to acknowledge that my feelings are worth anything at all. She is generally great, but once every couple of years she "loses it" and yesterday, she did something without asking me which caused me huge embarrassment and when we gave her a hard time called to explain the difficult position she had put us in, she a) refused to acknowledge that it was HER action that caused the problem and b) managed to turn it so that it was HER feelings that mattered most, and my embarrassment was subservient to her feelings.

I AM SO CROSS. I didn't sleep for thinking about it, and I now need to go and sort out the sorry mess she has got me into (which unfortunately, means speaking to her to undo the sorry sodding mess).

Furious doesn't cover it.

Anyway, here goes.
