What makes the perfect guest room.

I must admit I love those articles in magazines at Christmas ( can`t wait until the end of October for Christmas Editions) about making a lovely guest room .

What are your likes/dislikes.

I like 100% cotton bedlinen no 50/50 makes me sweat.

I like few nice hooks/ or drawers/dresser to put make up etc.

Good bedside light. Curtains that don`t let the light it.

Nice touches are soft towels/flowers/tissues.

Dislike

Nylon carpet are gives off sparks as you walk.

No Mirror.

Crappy pillows.

mildew around windows/dirt/dust.

Come Christmas I like to put mini tree/ stocking for guest in room and have a copy of Christmas Carol and the very funny Navity book by Gervase Flynnn by bedside.

I don`t want pistols at dawn, more curtains drawn at dusk !.

Our friends used to live in a lovely cottage in Warwickshire and I always felt comfortable and rested when I stayed.

So after moving to somewhere with space for a guest room I feel the need to indulge.
