Any chance of getting mould stains out of clothes ??

I'm really bloody annoyed with myself. Just back from hols and one of DD's tops was worn for a particularly messy meal of spag bol. I meant to swill it out at the holiday house but forgot so when I washed it at home almost 2 weeks later, its really badly stained with some mould patches Sad

Is it a lost cause or is there something I could try ?

adding soda crystals to your washing powder might help. Also hanging out in sunlight is good at fading stains!

With mould, I would throw it out tbh. Mould is realy nasty stuff and can cause breathing problems.

Thanks. I fear you may be right MmeLindt. Its a shame because it was one of her favourites Sad.

Lesson learnt for next time ...

Hi before you throw it away you can boil it in a pan of water with some oxy powder in it. I use the whizz one from netto. I have just removed a mould stain from a white t-shirt that my daughter had been sick on, whilst we were on our way back from holiday. I too forgot about it. Hope this helps.

Milton tablets get rid of mould

I would def throw it out and not take any chances, if you dont get the spours (sp?) out properly it can be nasty stuff.
