My DH justs bought a new shirt which says only dry cleaning Hmm. obviously I don'y want to wreck it. But we can't really offer the dry cleaner everytime he wears it.
(BTH I am a bit Hmm at the price too even if it was a bargain)
Is there a way I can safely wash it and iron it at home? Or test if I can in anyway?

I'd do it in the machine on a cold or delicates wash. Shoudl be ok

I had positive results on that one in the past, but I would like to test it before.
Any Ideas?
can I iron it though?

I would try handwashing it in tepid water, and ironing it on a silk setting. I don't think there's any way to test what will happen apart from actually doing it. TBH I'd probably just throw it in the laundry after the first time, and it would have to cope with it. Unless it's a dress shirt for fancy occasions only, no way would I be taking a shirt to the dry cleaner.
