I'm on the early shift today...not too bad though as ds slept till 7.50...

LOADS to do today, but still just V glad to be home

a quick list:
Bathrooms good clean
shopping delivery put away
LOADS of washing
garden: weed veg patch, cut grass, transplant courgettes,pumpkins and leeks, water toms
ring C/M
ring work
buy new dog bowl

no doubt will think of more LOL

Hi all .

Got back from our holiday in St Andrews yesterday. It was lovely (mostly), lots of sunshine , spent most of the time on various beaches. It was def the best family holiday yet, DD slept happily (alone) everynight, they got up early but were happy to watch TV by themselves so we could have lots of lie ins and we discovered that we can take them to pubs and restaurants without disaster (we had almost given up on this) .

We are now skint and fat so austerity measures start now .

banking

Ive joined the babystep fly thread - does it really work, how many of just do what the flylady says daily and keep on top of a well organised, clean home?

I mean I just thought if I cleaned good once a week, bathroom daily and a top up clean later in the week this would suffice, I am bit daunted by the daily tasks?

Hi namechange - I'd say that would suffice. I don't often do the actual missions . I do use the idea of zones though and try to put a bit more effort into the zone of the week. The routines thing is good and the decluttering. The threads are a good place for chatting and provide a nudge to get jobs done. Welcome .

banking (well I peeped at my balance through my fingers).
Also cleaned 1/2 windows .

scatty holiday sounds lovely. Glad it all went so well.

namechange sometimes I am really good at following FLYlady routines etc...other times I just muddle through! School holidays always slightly disasterous on FLYing front...but I aim to be backfully charged for Sept!

wendy I have just sent off for cinema vouchers from tesco clubcard vouchers, and will be taking all dc to see toy story when they comeglad I had vouchers though...would have cost us all about £60 to go otherwise this is why I normally only take them to the cheap kids club films LOL!

Bit sort of up and down wk/end...
some nice playing in garden with dc...then some dc killing each other in garden...etc..

did manage blackberry picking yesterday,
and today have made apple and blackberry crumble and blackcurrent jam....

roast gammon for dinner...slightly cremated due to strange workings of cheapy oven(not sure thermostat is working properly)...but ok!

not much achieved today though really...
need to be organised tomorrow...hoping job may start next week or week after...eeek bit scarey!

Have to have girls to drama club in town tomorrow for 10 am...will be a shock as we have all been getting very lazy in the mornings !
