FreakoidOrganisoid · 02/09/2010 18:13

JKS I have been fine about dd starting school but today the older children went back (reception start monday) and when I saw them walking past on their way this morning I thought OMG DD will be doing that on monday and felt a bit panicky. Probably in part due to the fact we weren't even dressed by then... She has 4 weeks of half days though and am used to her doing full days at preschool so the half days will seem really short.

DS has been asleep for the past hour, god knows what time he will be going to bed now!

Alice you are coping really well, am very impressed. God when I think back to when ds was a baby sometimes all I did was feed me and dd junk and maybe get a load of washing done!

Got back from supermarket earlier and there was a massive house spider on the (outside) wall next to the front door. It was HUGE! Bigger than dd's hand huge. I am hoping the fact it was outside means my sonic thingys are working and it was scared to come in! I sprayed it with ant killer and it ran away...

Haven't done much today...

JustKeepSwimming · 02/09/2010 18:28

Morning everyone. I feel crappy this morning :( Just want to go back to bed. It is a lovely day though so I must get DS outside for a decent whack of fresh air. Counting the hours until DH gets home. I am so fed up of feeling shite now, poor DS has watched so much Peppa and Cbeebies this last month. Not that he seems to mind, he's a cheerful little soul but I feel bad.

Midwife was fine yesterday, if long. It was bloods, she took about a gallon!

DONE
All up and dressed
DH to work
DS and I breakfast
Ocado here at 8.30
Sort out fridge
Put away shopping
Decide what's for dinner
Second breakfast for DS
Flop on sofa trying not to be sick

Ahh Ali, you'll get your date for your scan soon and that will lift your spirits,

Got all some invoicing done this morn
need to pay some bills online
then go out and watch dh dig my potatoes, physio said no diggingGrin

FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/09/2010 13:58

Lol at your mission pants wasting Grin Am so glad I didn't have to train ds, the advantage to having a not much older sibling I suppose.

Poor boy has diarrhoea (or a dire rear as I call it to avoid trying to spell t'other). Had it since weds, got a bit more solid last night but back to liquid now Sad Bit of a high temp so have given him calpol and am trying to get him to drink diarolyte but apparently it is too yucky.

Hope it's not catching - or dd won't be able to start school on mon.

Hope there isn't too much pregnancy sickness going on (sorry my post won't have helped with any vom issues!)

Anyone going to the xmas meet?

FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/09/2010 15:21

Eek wasting there is a maggot/wheelie bin thread! They always make me think of you and psycho neighbour...

Morning Smile

We have had maggots too for something that has no limbs they move bloody quick! Flyspray kills them though.

Ali even though my ms was not nearly as bad this time, DD watched a lot of PeppaPig and for a while when it came on i would feel sick just because of the memory of iyt iyswim? Grin

My Sis and her kids and our ex-stepmum came over yesterday. It was lovely (if a bit hectic as it always is with 3 kids!) My sis liked the attention of pushing DS in his pram and all the ladies in Boots cooing over him Grin

Ex-stepmum is coming back up this afternoon to help me out a bit and to have a bit of a catch up. We have the 'Royal Visit' tomorrow and yet again DH is working the weekend they want to come Hmm anyway, lovely SM (stepmum) is going to help me tidy and clean and keep kids happy.

Luckily sitting room is tidy as everyone helped tidy before they left yesterday and DD is in front of cbeebies eating breakfast still.

Rargh no sleep last night due to ds having high temp then this morning he asked for hot chocolate (the first food/drink he has asked for since wed) so I reluctantly let him have a little bit and he puked it all up again. Luckily in bathroom. and tbh I was expecting him to, milk isn't good for poorly tummies.

Am I an evil mummy if I still let them go to h and go out this eve??

Well 2 things i think:

  1. will you enjoy yourself knowing H is 'looking after' a sick DS?

  2. if you were together, or if DS got sick whilst with H, H would have to look after him so should be able to.

Tricky. I mostly come down on the side of going out though :)
