Dents in carpet from furniture feet - how can I get rid of these?

Hi there.
I have moved my sofa and now there are deep dents in the carpet?
Does any one have any good tips please.
Ice cubes rings a bell.

As far as I recall, just leave one to melt in the dent, and then you should be able to fluff the carpet up afterwards.

We did this when moving house and I think it worked quite well (though not completely).

Ice cubes come to my mind too. I have never done it but I think you just rub them straight on.

I have used an iron on full steam but be careful you do not melt any glue or scorch. Test on a small area first

I used the ice cube method recently. Left cubes to melt in the dents and fluffed up every so often. Worked a treat.
