How can I get the rancid smell of dust attic out of my suitcases?

I have fabrezed them and aired them al day in the garden and they are no better, any suggestions?

Scrub with white vinegar, then sprinkle with bicarb whilst still damp. Hoover out when bicarb is dry.

get the cator a DC to wee in it. That'll get rid of the dusty attic smell.

might try the white vinegar, but I have a terrible habit of being heavy handed, dont want al my clothes reaking of vinega on hol

My cases smell a bit. I intend to pack things with tumble dryer sheets between each layer.

I thought about tumble drier sheets, but then they say a good smell on top of a bad smell will only make it wose.

The bicarb will soak up the vinegary smell
