Has anyone SUCCESSFULLY got a turneric stain out of clothing?

First wearing of very pale trousers and I appear to have sat in some turneric stained oil. So, on my derriere I now have orange stains. Washed in cold water and soap and trousers are now in machine with some Vanish. Any foolproof ways should the stains not come out?

No turmeric is terminal I'm afraid.

The sun. The sun bleaches everything except banana.

Googling says the sun and lemon juice. I'm in the non-sunny part of the UK atm.

it does not have to be direct sunlight, just out in the sun for at least one day. Direct is of course better, but without just means it might take longer.
