I'm black British and I'm thinking of moving to Stafford west Midlands i was wondering what this area is like. Has anyone encountered any racism. And is it a good area to live?

Not overly familiar with the city but the county is absolutely beautiful. Access to lots of gorgeous countryside.

I used to live there, and live not too far from there now. (Moved 7-8 years ago.) It is largely a white population, but isn't far from places with larger populations of non-white. It is quite a busy city, and parts of it are really nice, some parts a bit less nice (like any city!) Good commuting/fair sized train station/lots of shops etc...

As pp said, Staffordshire/surrounding areas are stunning!

Can't say if there is much racism against black people there, but hopefully someone will come along and answer you soon.
