Room entitlement

Hi all I have a question, I've moved in with my other half 8 months ago we have discovered we are expecting! We are wondering he has a daughter (11) a son (9) with additional needs/disabilities and I have a son (7) plus as I mentioned one on the way we are looking to move house from a 3 bed we are thinking we need a 4 bed but unsure when baby is born wether we are entitled to a four and who would have to share please? Thanks in advance!

4 bedroom council houses are probably quite rare but if you were lucky enough to get one i expecct it would be a bedroom for each kid and the baby would go in with you

Do his DC live with you full time? And does his DSs SN mean he can't share a room?.

Assuming they do live with you, and he can't share a room. AFAIK baby doesn't 'count' until they are 1.
So you'd be entitled to a room for you, DP and baby.

Room for DSD
Room for DSS
Room for DS.

When baby is old enough they would be expected to share with either DSD or DS depending on their sex. So technically you should be entitled to a 4 bed. If there are any is another matter!

Possibly not depending on what the additional needs/disability are.
