I am band A on the housing register for a two bed - I’ve been priority for 8 months and my housing situation is getting worse. I called housing the other day to discuss what other options there is.
We discussed direct lets and I was then put on the list for Direct Lets through the council. I wondered if anybody had any personal stories , experience , or information on whether this is a good alternative. Is the waiting times quicker / shorter or roughly the same etc?
