So you have managed to get your own house, and you have a family, and they all grow up in your house, and you think everything is fine. Then suddenly, out of the blue, a new neighbour puts a shed on the end of your garden. You refuse to be bullied, and you go to ask her to move it, but she won't answer the door. So you move it onto her land yourself. Your neighbour kicks off and says it is her land because the land registry registered part of your land as her property. You contact LR, and they tell you to register your property, and then they can investigate. In the meantime, your neighbour sues you for her land. You hire a solicitor because you know it is and has always been your land. The solicitor lets you down badly, resulting in your evidence not being heard in court, which means you lose your case and have to pay costs. I find out that my neighbour was barred from suing me under three different laws, but I still have to pay my neighbour the costs of her going to court for suing me for my land. Going back to LR, they say it is my land, but the courts will not do anything, and I still have to pay. What would you do?
