Cullompton

Hi, was just trying to find out what Cullompton in Devon is like, is there high crime, drugs and a lot of teenage anti social behaviour. Have found a house I really like just worried as have boys on the spectrum so want them to be safe. Is the secondary school good with SEN too.

It's a nice enough town. Near my parents so I don't have school knowledge. Might be boring for youngsters though

It's a pretty average town. Has bad bits and good bits. Nearly always raining.

It’s an ok one street town but a bit of a dormitory for Exeter. Some transient population like you might expect. Good commute to Exeter via M5.
Has a main street, straight off M5 so lorries thunder down the narrow street adding to congestion at peak times. It gets a bit choked.
Good old fashioned butcher, Aldi & Tesco super store.
Possibly a bit parochial in some attitudes?
Willand is nearby and quieter. More rural.

It’s not great - we live near there and it’s “meh”. I think it’s more of a pass by between exeter and Barnstaple, I wouldn’t live there myself. Uffculme is nice and so it Bampton

Bit late but oh well. Cullompton is a horrible dump, I've lived in many places in Devon but Cullompton is definitely the worst. People there are vile, obnoxious, nosy type people who will look through your window with binoculars (true story.) Full of horrible nasty violent teenagers as well. There's nothing to do in Cullompton, hardly any shops, Local schools are terrible (especially Uffculme) All in all it's a no go place for me, the people there ruin it. Horrible place

Ridiculous? I was very reasonable and calm there. I could say much worse things about Cullompton
