Many grants or charities are area specific. Would you like to share what area you are in? I might be able to point you in the right direction then.

You could also try joining your local freecycle as a lot of great things are offered on there

TurnUpTurnip · 18/12/2021 00:18

Definitely try the Facebook suggestion, local one for where you are, people give away so much, I was given a sofa that was only 3 months old, it was immaculate. I’m sure you will be offered things.

As long as you are in supported that is non managed you can buy/have second hand electricals, in our are all the managed temporary supported accommodations will not allow second hand electricals due to them not being pat tested and possible fore risk but they will allow new.

Read your tenancy agreement to make sure. ☺️

Hi All

Any recommendation for short term for 2-3 months in Prestatyn or Rhyl area for 2 adult + 2 kids (7 yo and 5 months old)?

We are buying a house in Prestatyn (North Wales) but still waiting the moving date since the seller still processing their new house so we only need short term accomodation.

We are looking on those caravan holiday home but still can not find any yet. So if someone has availability at least from 1 - 30 Sept please contact me.

Thank you!
