How can I remove dried biro ink from a leather bag?

Any ideas on how to remove biro dried ink stain ink on treasured leather bag . I have tried gentle cleaning water and fairy liquid but to no avail

Hairspray or hand cleaner alcohol

M&S stain removing wipes are pretty good

Eau de cologne can sometimes work. Best try it on an inconspicuous place first.
