How do no-technology parents handle homework?

My son is age 7, primary 4 (Scotland)

his weekly homework is words, sentences and then either maths seeds or reading eggs which are both computer / iPad based

we have no issue with this (apart from the sheer volume of homework) but I’m just wondering how the parents who are very anti technology get round this? You always see parents on here saying their DC have never been near an iPad or computer or phone so what do they do?

our school use Googleclassroom for everything!

I used to be a teacher, and when we did online learning in Covid times (where we used Google classroom for everything) children were given a school device where possible or a paper pack of the work would be made up if they weren’t able to access the internet at all. I imagine homework would be similar, although this was for children who genuinely couldn’t access the internet/work, not sure how it would work if it was just that parents didn’t want to let their children access it…

DD’s school no longer provide physical reading books, we have to do all reading via ebooks on an app. There was a lot of pushback on that but ultimately our school said tough luck and we’ve all just had to do it.
