Window locks for toddlers

Need advice as windows have no locks and grandson of 3yrs has figured out how to open them. 2 storey house and worried. Are rope locks or restrictors the way to go. Advice needed urgently as they are moving in with us for 12 months. Thanks

That’s what we have , they’re good because you can still have the window open a little but it gives peace of mind . I know they leave holes in the UPVC but we’ve had ours in 8 years now and when the time comes to remove a little bit of white filler will do the trick.
