TOO MUCH HOMEWORK/ difficult

I am fed up with the homework for year 1 . My Grandson is finding some difficult . Some of the mum's also agree. Stupid technical words they dont need to use , leaving some of us having to look up what the words mean. Ridiculous some hard stuff some not. but WAY TOO much ....Are we the teachers . ?

If your grandson is struggling then that needs to be written on the homework so that the teacher can see that and he can be given extra help in the classroom.

That was never my experience of Year 1 homework?
