Ideal house size and office set up!

Hi - if one person works from home, you are a family of 5 and don’t live in London, aside from having a separate study with a good noise canceling headset, what would you say is a good sized home, so that you don’t feel on top of each other?

Depending of ages of children I'd want 2500-3400sq ft ish.
that would depend on layout but I'd be looking to achieve a good trade off on maintainance and running costs vs space

Im in london though so that might seem cramped to you 🤷🏻‍♀️
