14 divide by 4, times 55?

McConkeysPlate · 03/06/2022 23:25

Ignore that……

McConkeysPlate · 03/06/2022 23:27

4 divided by 14,times 55

beccahamlet · 03/06/2022 23:27

Sorry to be pedantic. It's number of eggs. Not amount.

Prisonpocket · 03/06/2022 23:31

15.71. Round up to 16

oviraptor21 · 03/06/2022 23:31

14/4 = 55/×

x = 55*4/14

x = 15.7etc

Eggs needed = 16

KarmaComma · 03/06/2022 23:44

Find the number of eggs for 1 omelette by doing 4/14, then multiply to find 55 omelettes. So (4/14)*55

MaChienEstUnDick · 04/06/2022 00:09

Four eggs cannot make 14 omelettes. Just write 'this is bonkers, are you cooking eggs for tiny mice? The minimum amount of eggs for 55 omelettes is 55 eggs unless it's a frittata, in which case you're looking at 110. Do not invite me for lunch.'

Nailed it.

(14÷4)×55= 192.5

Is that actual homework, or a silly trick question?
