Help what does this question mean? The last part of the written coursework.
"Chosen optional element of the specification and how knowledge and implementation could improve performance"

There must be a grammar/typing error in the question as that sentence doesn't make sense. It has probably been transcribed wrong.

Best guess would require some context from the rest of the work. There are clearly some "optional elements" ie something where the students have to cover a or b or c and choose one. This badly-written question is asking for some written work about the chosen option, and how knowledge and implementation (ie how you do the thing you choose to do) could improve performance.

Best action would be to check with the teacher on Monday. If the deadline for handing the work in is Monday and the student has only just spotted that they don't understand the question, then that is an important lesson for the future! But hopefully this isn't the case and there is time to get clarity.
