Help with a quadratic graph question

Can someone help with this question please. I know it needs to be a symmetrical bucket shape but am struggling with finding the co-ordinates. DS getting stressed with holiday homework after slipping back in maths during lockdown and from the CPG revision guide we have we still can’t work it out!! All help gratefully received!!

So you would pick a figure for x first of all:

e.g. x = 2 and then work out y. Y = 2x² would be y = 2 x 2² so y = 2x4 = 8. First coordinate would be 2, 8

If x = 3 then y = 2x 3² so y = 18 ; coordinates are 3, 18
Etc, etc

I think you need to do it with x = 0 and use negative numbers for x too
