I don't care if this only lasts a fortnight. The last two Fridays both of my kids chattered in the car, planning their evening together. They decided on their own to do homework as soon as they got in before gaming together. They have stuck to this!!
Previously it's either been a battle to convince eldest not to do it at the last minute, or tears from youngest due to confidence issues, and both had to be instructed to get it done.
I AM SO HAPPY. Pure relief!
