Can anyone see where we've gone wrong with this question?
Done it as a Venn diagram but we're 4 pizzas short!

I've solved it. A point to realise is that although the 3 veggies wanted to mushroom only, there may be others who also ordered mushroom only, so it's not 3 in the M only section.

I thought that too but mushrooms still have to add up to 9.

9 pizzas include mushrooms, 7 more include pepperoni (10 pepp less the 2 with mush and the 1 with all 3). So that leaves 16 which are chicken only or are plain. We know this figure must split evenly, so 8 chicken only, 8 plain.

I've just done it too and agree with Dad^3.
I ended up with same equation to solve as he did.

Nice to see Venn Diagrams back on the GCSE syllabus.
