My son (11) is asking about what is viscosity, why some are more viscous what is actually happening with the molecules, what shape are particles, a hundred other things. Can't find video of right level for him. Any ideas? Thanks

Could try bbc bitesize, I like it generally for the teens I work with.

Thanks that is my first port of call too, wanted something a bit more in depth but not crazy complicated. Thank you for replying

Try KhanAcademy.

Open Learn, from the open university is my next step up if bitesize is too simple.

usually refer to youtube for such problems. There are hundreds of useful and not so useful demos and selecting the right level and interesting ones take time and effort on my part but strangely i enjoy sorting the wheat from the chaff. Over time i developed an inventory of reliable sources that we tend to find useful.
