Hello my DD is in year 5 and we need to get started on 11+ practice. Can anyone advise me on how to go about it?
Where to get past papers?
Any tips on strategy?

Its my first time going through the process so Id love some comments to help me get started.

Find out what exam board or type of test your schools are using- these have changed a lot recently, so generic 11+ stuff may not be relevant, then go online to an 11+ plus forum and you can often download the right type of practice papers and/or get some on Amazon.

I didn't use it for the support, but they do have free practice papers. Plus look at the schools you want to go to, and print out and read their instructions, they will tell you what boards they use (e.g. CEM) and you can then look for that.

You only need spend an hour on this to get all the info, then you can get on with what's more valuable which is starting to work on this stuff at home.
