Year 8 Physics - half life

Hi - another Physics question this time about half life and radiation !

Question for 4 marks is :

You have 2 pieces of radioactive material. They both give out 400 waves or particles per second:

Sample A has a half life of 2 days and sample B has a half life of 10days.

Compare how the radiation emitted per second by each sample changes over 10 days

Is this correct - Sample A - every 2 days the amount of radiation emitted will halve so after 10 days the radiation emitted will be 12.5 whereas Sample B will only halve the radiation emitted every 5 days so after 10 days it will be emitting 100 , so more radiation than Sample A

Is that correct and if so is that enough info for 4 marks

Also if anyone can recommend a good Physics book I would so appreciate it . My daughter is suffering from CFS and has only been managing 1 hour of school a day since September so struggling a bit as she missing so many lessons . She finds Physics particularly hard so anything that would help her would be a plus !

Thanks

CGP Complete Study & Practice book (not the revise guide though that one is excellent for revision when they have already been taught the content. )

Should the half life of B be 5 or 10 as in your original problem statement? Maybe she could draw a graph of radiation against time to support her answer with a line for A and a line for B.
