Help!
I'm absolutely hopeless at maths and dd has just shown me the maths homework for this week and doesn't understand it, neither do I Confused
What is the expression? I'm hoping it's really simple once it get explained, Google isn't helping me!

Its like this

Y goes into the machine. Y is a number which presumably we don't know, 2 is added to it, so what comes out? The expression is y+2

Thank you so much, I did suggest that but it seemed too simple and dd looked at me like, really?
Much appreciated

I guess that's the first question on the sheet? Be careful as it gets more complex: don't forget BIDMAS!

Agree with Alaska.
