Anyone good at maths around?

It says to use a calculator I have no idea how to even use the calculator to do the x little 3 bit!! Can anyone help my daughter out

It's a cubed number eg 2 little 3 would be 2x2x2
4 little 3 would be 4x4x4 etc.
